Q: What is an ezine?
A: According to Wikipedia, an ezine is a periodic publication distributed by email or posted on a website. Ezines are typically tightly focused on a subject area. The Actors Reporter ezine, or video magazine, is focused on non-gossip issues, items, and events that may affect actors and others in the entertainment industry. Q: How do you book guests for your shows?
A: Publicists, agents, managers, and sometimes the talent, themselves, email Booking@ActorsReporter.com with their request. We prefer requests to be accompanied with a short bio and links to the talent’s website, IMDb page, YourTube etc sites, and social media. Most of our shows book 1-2 months in advance of air date.

Q: How do you audition for hosts for your red carpets and other shows?
A: We receive numerous requests for potential hosts each week. Requests should be accompanied with a short bio and links to the talent’s website, IMDb page, and social media, and particular links to samples of previous hosting experience, if any. Please send requests to Booking@ActorsReporter.com.

Q: How do you choose which Daily Entertainment News Headlines to Feature?
A: At least once daily, the links to current entertainment news are updated. We attempt to retrieve the news from various domestic and international sources, including, but not limited to, Reuters, The Associated Press, BBC, FOX, The Blaze, MTV, BET, and the rest of the alphabet stations, as well as from international sources such as Channel News Asia, and newspapers such as the New York Daily News, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and various independent news sites. We attempt to feature the news that appears to most affect or report on the entertainment industry.

Q: Generally, how long are the video articles?
A: In general, a video will range from 2 or 3 minutes up to 20 minutes, but most video articles on the Actors Reporter average about 4 or 5 minutes.

Q: Does it cost money to register with Actors Reporter?
A: It is free to register with Actors Reporter. And, please do so!

Q: Can I share the video articles with a friend?
A: Yes. Your friend will receive an email from you linking them back to Actors Reporter providing your friends with a chance to experience it for themselves.

Q: Can I discontinue receiving the newsletter at any time?
A: Yes. If, at any time you wish to no longer receive the newletters, please simply just ‘opt-out’ from the mailing list through the ‘unsubscribe’ button located within the Actors Reporter email or newsletter.

Q: Will you share my email address or personal information with any third party venders?
A: No. Actors Reporter will never share your email with a vender.

Q: Is the Actors Reporter affiliated with any union?
A: Yes and no. A section of the Actors Reporter, Ferrari SAGpodcast, is a SAG signatory project focusing on SAG issues and news. However, the Screen Actors Guild does not sanction any of the content on this site. That being said, all of the Actors Reporter hosts and reporters and SAG members.

Q: How often are the articles on the Actors Reporter updated?
A: The Actors Reporter is a monthly ezine, however some of the articles are updated daily, such as Hot Topic and new event and news additions. Other articles, such as the TradeVine are updated weekly. And, others, such as the Columns, are updated monthly.

Q: Why am I required to ‘opt-in’ to the Actors Reporter newsletter and mailing list?
A: Actors Reporter requires everyone to confirm their request to be added to the Actors Reporter newsletter and mailing list. This prevents anyone from unintentionally being placed on the mailing list.
