Through 15 January 2018 – Hurricane Andrew: 25 Years Later – Yes, it’s been a quarter of a century since Hurricane Andrew roared through Miami (on Aug. 16) and there is a museum exhibit that reflects on the historic Category 5 storm with amazing video footage, stories from people who lived through it and historic photos.

1st-4th November 2017 – Travis Louie Phantasmagoria. KP Projects is proud to present a solo exhibition of paintings and drawings by Travis Louie entitled Phantasmagoria. By unearthing unusual discoveries inspired by reported sightings of remarkable beings he read about as a child, Louie has become a purveyor of the fantastical look. Los Angeles.

1st-30th November 2017 – #ShopBleecker. The Greenwich Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and the business along and adjacent to Bleecker Street is hosting their first annual shopping initiative, #ShopBleecker, to encourage patronage within the stores along the street and the surrounding area. Throughout the month, select retailers will be offering special deals and discounts and hosting in-store events.

2nd-6th November 2017 – Tohoku Fair at Mitsuwa Marketplace. The Rising Tohoku Food Fair not only celebrates the cultural diversity of the Tohoku region of Japan, it also promotes awareness of the ongoing post-earthquake recovery from damage suffered during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. 4th-5th November 2017 – ROCKFEST 80s – Kudos to the folks who put together this stellar group of classic rock bands. Top acts include: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Lita Ford (here’s hoping Joan and Lita, both ex-Runaways, perform together!), Foghat, The Outlaws, Dokken, Sebastian Bach (ex of Skid Row), Jack Russell’s Great White, the Little River Band and Quiet Riot. 8th November 2017 – 11th Annual Hollywood Fame Awards. The Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards, a celebration of Film, Art, Music and Entertainment, stands on it’s own as the first officially recognized opening ceremony for awards show season in Hollywood.
