Through 7th June 2017 – Intro to Painting. Explore your creativity with an introduction to watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints. This class takes place on Wednesdays and designed for all ages 15 plus. Register with a friend/relative or two or come single and meet new friends. Reno, Nevada.

2nd June-27th August 2017 – Cirque le Noir. Enter the captivating world of Le Noir, an extraordinary evening of intimate cirque style entertainment starring some of the most incredible acrobatic acts on earth. Audiences will be immersed in an amazing visual feast using metaphors of white, red and black to describe the diverse range of our personalities. At the Eldorado Resort Casino, Reno.

2nd June 2017 – The Cinema Guild presents “Starless Dreams,” the stunning & profoundly moving documentary exploring the lives and souls of Iranian teenage girls consigned to a Tehran Correctional and Rehabilitation Center. At The American Museum of the Moving Image, New York. Cinema Guild



4th-23rd June 2017 – New York City’s famed Doug Varone and Dancers will offer Summer Workshop 2017, an immersive, three-week workshop for pre-professional and professional dancers, at Purchase College. New York.

5th-11th June 2017 – LA Pride 2017. a create safe and inclusive spaces for self-expression, to inspire an authentic sense of activism in the continued fight for equality, and to celebrate the unique heritage and diverse cultures of Los Angeles’ LGBTQ+ community and its allies. LA Pride




5th-26th June 2017 – 8 Til Late’ A felt convenience store by British artist Lucy Sparrow. Felt artist Lucy Sparrow has quickly become recognized as one of the most exciting and original artists working in the UK today. Her practice is quirky yet subversive, luring the audience in with her soft, tactile, colorful felt creations before hitting them hard with her comment on subjects from the demise of the traditional high street to censorship in pornography. 8 till late




8th – 25th June The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access, community-derived event celebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community. Each June during the Hollywood Fringe, the arts infiltrate the Hollywood neighborhood: fully equipped theaters, parks, clubs, churches, restaurants and other unexpected places host hundreds of productions by local, national, and international arts companies and independent performers.

16th-17th June 2017 – The Great Eldorado BBQ, Brews and Blues Festival. Fire up the grills, tap the kegs and crank up the tunes for Reno’s best summer kick-off party! The festival is part barbecue block party and part microbrew tasting event and features more than 50 microbrews. The streets are lined with food booths and vendors and two stages feature free nonstop rock and blues music. Reno. Great ElDorado blast, with performances late into the evening on three different stages, along with a marketplace featuring vendors selling arts, crafts and more. There will also be food trucks, frozen drink tents and a Kids Zone. Don’t miss the Stonewall Summer Pride Twilight Parade.
