1st October – Locals can now head to the iconic Santa Monica Pier for more than a ride on the Ferris wheel or a dip in the water. In honor of National Seafood Month this October, this food festival will showcase the best that our west coast waters have to offer.

13th-16th October – The Chelsea Film Festival is an international film festival, enlightening the work of emerging filmmakers, producers and actors. 16th October – The term CicLAvia (Spanish for “bike way”) can also be used to describe a temporary closing of LA’s streets. 21st-30th October – Arcane: A Tale of All Hallows’ Eve. Company C Contemporary Ballet will once again offer refuge to the wayward ghosts who haunt the Bay Area during Autumn’s October days. 29th September – 14th October – Vancouver International Film Festival.


The 35th annual Vancouver International Film Festival will once again welcome some of the world’s finest films to one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. 22nd & 23rd October – Brewery ArtWalk. The Brewery ArtWalk is a twice annual open studio weekend at the worlds largest art complex. With over 100 participating residentartists, you will have the opportunity to see new works, discover new favorites, speak with the artists and purchase artwork directly from the artists’ studios. 29th September – 31st October – Dark Harbor. The only thing better than a haunted attraction is a haunted attraction on a giant boat. 1st-31st October – Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. Become part of the Secret Society of Samhain, which means Halloween. 1st October-1st November – Spend a night in an Altadena cemetery as you’re led across the grounds for three spooky theatrical productions. 31st October – The largest Halloween street party in the world happens in West Hollywood! take to the streets of Santa Monica Boulevard to enjoy the wild costumes and uninhibited crowds at the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval. The Carnaval features live entertainment on multiple stages, food vendors, and photo stations; and the bars along Santa Monica Boulevard take part with drink specials and patio parties.
