16th August – MUSACK Rock and Roll Carnival. Where: A backyard in Hancock Park. A writer on Parks and Recreation throws an intimate concert/massive backyard party every year with awesome bands (Rancid! Superchunk!) and even awesomer comedians (Nathan Fielder! John Hodgman!), and this year he’s inviting you. The catch/even better part? It’s a fundraiser to get instruments into the hands of kids who can’t afford them. You’re gonna want to go to this.
