9th-12th March – SXSWedu is proud to announce the final featured session for 2015, “A Tale of Two Schools: Time to Close the Opportunity Gap.” Lily Eskelsen Garcia, a passionate 5th grade teacher from Utah, is presenting this session on Thursday, March 12. Garcia is the president of the National Education Association, the nation’s largest labor union. 12th-22nd March – The 22nd Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF) will take place March 2015 at the Digiplex Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center located in beautiful San Diego, California. Last year’s festival was attended by an audience of 20,500 actively-engaged film lovers, filmmakers, actors, programmers, distributors, industry representatives and journalists. The San Diego Latino Film Festival has used the unique geographical and cultural position of the San Diego Border Region to make the festival a premiere venue for the exhibition of international and U.S. Latino features, shorts and documentaries.



26th-29th March – Vail Film Festival. The Colorado Film Institute’s mission is to foster independent film through film screenings, panels, workshops, networking events, and educational projects.



12th March – 15th April – Carrie The Musical. Brand New West Coast Premiere. Music by Academy Award winner Michael Gore. Lyrics by Academy Award winner Dean Pitchford. Book by Lawrence D. Cohen. Based on the classic horror novel by Stephen King. Directed by Brady Schwind.
