Through June 27th – The Wicked Wilde Shakespeare Festival at The Miles Memorial Playhouse, Santa Monica, CA. In its 12th year, this collaborative event between KCRW and the Hollywood Bowl will showcase amazing artists from all over the world on six Sundays through September. June 30th – Ford Theatre Summer Nights at the Ford presents Rhythmic Relations 2012: The Remix Show With nearly 50 taiko drummers playing some of the largest drums in Southern California. Joining TAIKOPROJECT in Act I are sister drumming groups Kitsune Taiko, Loma Pacific Taiko and Tanuki Taiko. In the second half, TAIKOPROJECT gives a fresh spin to traditional taiko compositions.
