Sundays in June (through September) – KCRW’s World Festival. In its 12th year, this collaborative event between KCRW and the Hollywood Bowl will showcase amazing artists from all over the world on six Sundays through September. On June 20th, DJ Garth Trinidad hosts Baaba Maal with special guests Playing for Change. On the 27th, DJ Tom Schnabel hosts Goldfrapp and others. Los Angeles


July 3rd – Vertigos Pre-4th Of July. Join Vertigos for an ultimate night of Music and mingle w/all your favorite 80s djs.


July 3rd – 4th of July Bash at The Colony in Los Angeles. Plus One Eventz – Hardcore Entertainment present the 11th Annual Independence Bash. Where the Hamptons meet Hollywood. Representing the evolution of the definitive sbe nightlife experience, The Colony captures the exclusive and celebrated Hamptons lifestyle right in the heart of Hollywood.






July 4th – Pub Crawl Hollywood at Pig ‘n Whistle, Los Angeles. Think about the summertime. What do you enjoy the most? The hot days are definitely a plus, but there’s one aspect about the summer that really has us anticipating a particular weekend for months on end – 4th of July. It’s the one time of the year when we can don the red, white and blue, and really show off how much love we have for our nation.


July 5th – 8th – ITV Fest. ITVFest allows people who have previously had little or no access to television decision makers the forum for which they have tirelessly strived.
ITVFest is an opportunity for the dreamers to take time off from their day-jobs, stop waiting for the phone to ring, and take their careers into their own hands.


July 5th – 8th – Comic Con Paris. Before the mother ship touches down in San Diego, Comic-Con Paris sees a mass gathering of Euro-geeks. Comic-Con Paris at Staying There


July 6th – 13th – DOWNTOWN FILM FESTIVAL L.A. dedicated to showcasing the best in independent cinema in the heart of the world’s Entertainment & Arts Capital.






July 6th – 15th – The 16th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts. This international “Talent Olympics” for aspiring performers and entertainers, is the only event of its kind.


July 8th – WCOPA ‘Parade of Nations’ at Two California Plaza, Los Angeles. Hundreds of performers will strut their stuff at A Parade of Nations, followed by a performance of the talent participating in this year’s WCOPA event.


July 9th – ITVfest 2012 PopConLA. PopConLA will be held at the La Convention Center from July 5th through July 8th as an extension of the International Television Festival (ITVfest). This year the Festival will be expanding into a broader consumer-based Convention setting where the spotlight will not only be on film and television exhibition and production, but comic books, novels, music, fashion and social media.


July 12th -15th – San Francisco Frozen Film Festival. All Films are at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco, CA. Dedicated to creating avenues for independent filmmakers, filmmakers of conscience, and artists from underserved communities to come together and exhibit their work to the widest possible audience.


July 12th – 15th – San Diego hosts Comic-Con International, with gamers, sci-fi fans, comic aficionados and lovers of all things fantasy packing the San Diego Convention Center to the tune of over 130,000 fans. The Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival has nightly screenings of short independent films.


July 14th – Los Angeles Media Access Workshop 2012. Presented by Asian American Journalists Association – Los Angeles chapter, in partnership with Asian Pacific American Legal Center. Please join us for a session for community groups to learn how to pitch their stories to the media and to get their news covered.


July 16th – 20th – True to its commitment  to celebrating the art, education and entertainment of film, the Gimli Film Festival is excited to announce the addition of the MTS Digital Media Camp – a five-day total film immersion camp dedicated to learning how to create a short film and posting it on YouTube. 
Twelve lucky individuals between the ages of 15 and 25 will have the exclusive opportunity to work with some of Manitoba’s notable filmmakers with a chance for their film creations to be premiered at the Gimli Film Festival on Sunday, July 29.


July 19th – 22nd – Las Vegas Film Festival at the beautiful Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. Dedicated to showcasing the finest American and international cinema the world has to offer, our mission is to bridge the gap between independent film audiences and filmmakers, as well as to connect emerging filmmakers with established industry professionals.


July 21st – The 15th Annual Extravaganza for the Senses at New Filmmakers La At Sunset Gower Studios, Los Angeles. An evening of fun benefiting The Saban Free Clinic. Attendees will be treated to unlimited samples from more than 40 of LA’s top restaurants including: JAR, Upstairs 2, Angelini Osteria, Chaya, and more. Attendees will also sample 60+ wineries and enjoy several entertainment options including: tunes spun by a DJ, fortune readings by mystics, spa services, photo booth and a lively silent auction.


July 25th – 29th – Gimli Film Festival. showcases over 130 features, documentaries and shorts from Manitoba, Canada and the world, that promise informative, fascinating and riveting entertainment.


July 25-September 1st THE POE MYSTERIES adapted by James Rana, based on the first modern detective stories ever written. 6 actors portray 50 characters. East Lynne Theater in Cape May, NJ. East Lynne Theater



July 27th & 28th – The PANCAKES & BOOZE Art Show. LA’s largest underground art show. Over 150 artists plus all-you-can-eat pancakes. Pancakes & Booze Art Show


July 28th and August 11th & 25th – Chinatown Summer Nights. Back by popular demand, the third annual Chinatown Summer Nights promises to be spectacular with a fresh lineup of great food, art and music.
