February 5th – The Writers Guild of America Awards. The 2011 Writers Guild Awards will be held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles and at a simultaneous ceremony in New York. To recognize outstanding achievements in film, television, and radio. This is the first year the WGA is presenting awards for new media writing. To be eligible for the new media awards, the program or episode must have first been exhibited on a new media platform between 12/1/2009 and 11/30/2010.
