Volunteer as Sergeant-At-Arms
(Sergeant-At-Arms: an officer appointed by an organization to help maintain order during its meetings).

Some of you may have noticed when attending Guild events and meetings, the assistance of volunteer SAG members serving as Sergeant-At-Arms. They are called upon to help with event orchestration and crowd control, providing a pleasant member-to-member experience and a light touch to preserve order in the meeting or event.

All Sergeant-At-Arms volunteers for Hollywood/Los Angeles-based events must be members in good standing who are affiliated with the Hollywood Division and are required to attend a brief informational session held at the Guild office. The meeting will review the duties and scope of a SAG Sargeant-At-arms.

Candidates will be contacted regarding the exact date, time and location of the informational session.

If you are interested in becoming a candidate for SAG Sergeant-At-Arms, please call SAG at 323.549.6459.
