Published: Monday, February 23rd, 2009
In this video article of Interviews, we have actor, Joe Sabatino, one of the most working actors on TV today that’s not a regular on a TV series (at least not yet).
Mr. Sabatino, call him “Joe,” shares with Actors Reporter valuable tips for the working actor.
Joe Sabatino, originally from Long Island, New York, had aspirations of becoming a professional football player. But, as college scouts were starting to take notice, Joe was coaxed by a friend into volunteering for his high school senior class play. He caught the acting bug and never got over it.
Slowly, Joe began with a commercial, small movie part here and there, got his feet wet with a few day player and recurring roles on daytime soaps such as, “Ryan’s Hope” and “Search for Tomorrow.” After recurring roles on “The Young and The Restless” and “General Hospital,” and a part in Rocky 5, he was on his way.
Joe finds that being an actor is something special. It’s not just the fluff of fame and fortune, but the dedication to the craft, not to mention the many ups and downs that come with pursuing one’s dream. His acting resume reflects Joe’s success as an actor, and everyday, he is grateful that he is able to make his dream a reality. Joe hopes that everyone who has a dream has the ability to pursue it and enjoy the process along the way. Enjoy this issue’s video article, “ Tips for Actors,” by Joe Sabatino.
